current programs

Pathways Reentry Center has worked tirelessly over the past year building a strong foundation for services and programming aimed at supporting individuals at every stage of the justice-system: from arrest, to release from incarceration, through relapse and recidivism upon reentering society.

The following programs and projects are meant to ensure each individual working with Pathways is afforded the best opportunity for success available with the resources available within the community. This list is ongoing and ever-changing as new sources of funding, donations, and partner agencies come into fruition.

tOILETRIES & SURVIVAL SUPPLIES

These are basic hygiene kits, emergency water purification, eating and cooking utensils, and other important tangible supplies for homeless Reentrants.

TRANSPORTATION

The Transportation Program through Pathways has been one of our proudest and most valuable achievements. In partnership with CARTS & Alaska Cab, Pathways has helped reentrants get where they need to be through a combination of grant-funded projects, public donations, and leveraging available resources in the community.

SHOWER & LAUNDRY VOUCHERS

Our voucher program allows a user to access showers and laundry services at local providers, such as Wash & Dry. Each voucher provides for one single load of laundry in a washer & Dryer or a Shower with Towel Use.

participants in this program also have access to hygiene products and New undergarments and socks as a way of improving self-worth and healthy habits.

EMERGENCY SHELTER FOR PETS OF REENTRANTS

This emergency program will meet our communities' dire need for a shelter for pets while owners access in-patient SUD or Mental Health treatment, when law enforcement requires a safe situation for animals due to an arrest, collision, fire, or other emergency, &/or when a pet owner is incarcerated.

CLOTHING VOUCHERS

Clothing is one of the greatest needs when an individual is released from incarceration and one of the most expensive items to purchase on your own. Our participants will be seeking training and employment opportunities to succeed on the outside, and this will require clothing.

We are grateful for the resources available in our community, and the thrift clothing stores that are accessible and willing to work with agencies like Pathways to support the people that live and work in our beautiful home.

We are ALWAYS seeking donations of clean, Excellent condition clothing for Adult men and women: Blazers, Jackets, Blouses, Shirts, Pants, Slacks, Skirts (below the knee), Long-Sleeve tops, thermals, Carhartt's, Outerwear, Gloves.

While we continue to build infrastructure and programming aimed at supporting our local reentrants, correctional institutions, and providers, we are seeking key stakeholders and community members to join our team and help guide Pathways Reentry Center in 2025.

Pathways is looking for Board Members and Representatives from local providers and stakeholders to join our Steering team.
